Blink's animal feed prebiotic additives are composed of mannanoligosaccharides and beta-glucans (ß-1,3 and ß-1,6) extracted from the cell wall of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Beta-glucans interact with several immunocompetent cells, modulating the immune system. Mannans are not digested in the proximal portion of the gastrointestinal tract, making them highly beneficial to the animal by stimulating a healthy intestinal environment. Some of its benefits are:
